Fyra timmar HDTV för National Geographic Channel US
Deep Wreck Mysteries är en dokumentärserie om fyra delar som utreder mysterier kring skepp som sjuknit under krig. En hel del ofattbara plåtningar på djupa vatten så djupt som 125 meter. Samt spännande intervjuer med människor som befann sig ombord på skeppen då de gick under, men mirakulöst nog undgått att dela dess öde.
I am very satisfied with Jonas’ work. The HD pictures provided him with an excellent starting point and he made full use of them. His understanding of the process, the equipment and his overall artistic approach turned already great pictures into a work of art. As for the sound my fellow director from the UK summed it up as: “That’s the best sound team I ever worked with”. And given the results it hard to disagree.
We had to deliver many different versions ranging from half hours to different length one hours. Essentially for each show there were five versions, a demanding and difficult task for the best facility. All were made on time and to the correct specification. Even with Sweden’s reputation for being expensive, my budget actually saved money by going to CinePost. The prices are very competitive and with accommodation as part of the package combined with cheap low cost air tickets to Stockholm it is no more expensive than going down the road here in Bristol and certainly cheaper than London. I will soon be back to work with CinePost.
